Dear Bryant Ranch Families, Teachers, Staff, and Community,
Welcome back for the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Lynnsey Jorgensen and I’m happy to serve as your Bryant Ranch PTA President this year. As a parent of five children who have all attended Bryant Ranch, I have great affection and gratitude for the wonderful learning atmosphere and community feeling that has been created at our school. My children and I have been enriched by the educational experiences, PTA family events, and tremendous friendships we’ve enjoyed here. It has been my pleasure to share my time in many teachers’ classrooms and the PTA as centers helper, reading specialist, library aide, computer lab assistant, copy room helper, room mom, PTA VP, Historian, Financial Secretary, and in many Committee Chair positions over the past 18 years at Bryant Ranch. Working closely with the teachers, principal, staff, PTA volunteers, parents, and students of Bryant Ranch has been such a blessing. I’m in awe of our incredible community of talented, dedicated, and selfless people!
Bryant Ranch PTA is an integral part of our school. PTA hosts fun family events like Trunk-or-Treat, Literacy Night, Seuss STEAM Night, Donuts with Moms and Dads, and Family Movie Night. Additionally, PTA funds educational programs and materials at Bryant Ranch including Wordly Wise vocabulary manuals, StarFall computer reading program, Art Masters art lessons, class field trips and assemblies. Don’t forget that we also create and provide yearbooks, spirit wear, PBIS rewards (brag cards, scholar dollars, brag cart, and other behavior reward events and assemblies), 5th grade promotion activities, garden club, the school play, book fairs, teacher grants, and staff appreciation gifts and events.
As you know, the PTA relies on volunteer time and support from our parents to provide events and programs to our students. We will be announcing opportunities to help, both big and small, throughout the year and would love to have as many helping hands as possible. It truly takes a village and we couldn’t do what we do without support from our capable and helpful community of families.
We have an incredible team of Board members this year that are excited to plan and run our special events throughout the year! In order for PTA to provide the many wonderful events and programs, we have the following fundraisers planned to which we hope you’ll generously donate:
- Membership Drive (September): A donation to the PTA based on membership. This year we’re taking our membership fully digital! Additional donations above the basic fee are greatly appreciated. https://jointotem.com/ca/yorba-linda/bryant-ranch-school-pta/join
- Read-a-Thon (September): Students will ask for donations from family, friends, and local businesses while enhancing student literacy and a love for reading. This is one of our top fundraisers.
- Fun Run (April): Students receive donations from friends, family, and businesses to promote a healthy lifestyle. This is our biggest and most important fundraiser of the year.
- Family Restaurant Nights (various times throughout the year): Local restaurants will donate a portion of sales to Bryant Ranch when you dine with them.
- Amazon Smiles: Add Bryant Ranch School PTA to your Amazon Smile account and each time you shop on Amazon the school will receive a donation.
